WASHINGTON, June 27 (Xinhua) — A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted South Sandwich Islands region at 0718 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 35.92 km, was initially determined to be at 56.1518 degrees south latitude and 26.7868 degrees west longitude.
